Oppo Reno 3 Pro was launched in March 2020 and comes with a 6.4 inch AMOLED Display as well as an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is found in three colors: Sky white, Auroral Blue, and Midnight Black and is packed with an octa-core MediaTek Helio P95 SoC. It has 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The device has a 4025 mAh battery and supports 30W VOOC charging.
It runs ColourOS7 which sits on top of Android 10. In terms of camera, Oppo Reno 3 Pro sports a quad-camera setup which consists of a 64MP primary sensor,13MP telephoto camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP mono camera. The biometrics found with it includes a facial recognition system and fingerprint scanner.
DESIGN
Oppo Reno 3 Pro has a curved edge display design that comes with a single centered punch hole camera that is similar to that found in Samsung Galaxy F41. The sleek design is inspired by nature and has a vastness of cosmos that instills restoration and peace. The dimensions of the device are 158.8mm x73.4mmx8.1mm while the weight is 175grams. It has thin bezels on the sides of the screen while the chin is slightly thicker. There is also an in-display fingerprint that works instantly upon being touched.

The earpiece has been placed slightly below the phone’s frame which on the other hand feels plastic upon being touched. The back is also made of plastic but has a premium feeling upon being touched. All buttons on this device are well positioned and easy to access while holding the phone with just a hand. The SIM tray is positioned at the left and can accommodate up to 2 Nano-SIMs as well as a micro SD card. The bottom holds the USB Type-C port, loudspeaker, primary microphone, and 3.5 mm audio jack. The top has a secondary microphone while the back has a compact quad-camera module.
One can also spot a slight bump at the back but it isn’t too distractive. Upon being launched Oppo Reno 3 Pro came in three different colors namely Midnight Black, Auroral Blue, and Sky White. All the shades have a gradient finish that adds sleekness to them. The finish is also a fingerprint magnet but luckily enough the phone ships with a clear case out of the box. It also comes with a 30W VOOC Flash charge 4.0 for fast charging.
DISPLAY
Flipping the phone to the front will have view the 6.4 inch Super AMOLED panel that is also seen in Realme 7 Pro. The screen has a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and contains slim bezels that also aligns well with the curves on the side that offers a comfortable hold even with one hand. The AMOLED display can render blacks perfectly even at all brightness levels. The device has a high peak brightness which is adequate for viewing and gaming. The display fingerprint scanner works well and instantly while the face unlocks are also impressive.
CAMERA
With its upgraded camera specs, Oppo Reno 3 pro is aiming for the big leagues. Unlike the 5 cameras that were found in Oppo 3, Reno 3 pro has a total of six cameras that are split across the front and back. The rear has a four-camera array which consists of a 64MPf/1.8 central camera, 13MP telephoto lens,8MP ultra-wide lens, and 2MP mono lens.
