Oppo A7 features a waterdrop notch design and has a 6.2 inch LCD with HD+ resolution. The phone has support for dual 4G and VoLTE and is supported by a Snapdragon 450 Octacore SoC. It runs on Color OS5.2 that is based on Android 8.1 and an adreno506 GPU. The device has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage with a micro SD slot for up to 256GB. It is supported by a 4230mAh battery and its camera module features Rear Sensor: 13MP with f/2.2 & 2MP with f/2.4,16MP front sensor and a LED flash. It has a fingerprint sensor and faces unlock feature

DESIGN

The smartphone has an all-plastic body that features an all glossy finish at the rear panel. Despite its plastic material, it has a premium look that makes it stand out.

The back panel gives the device a good ergonomics due to its curved edges and sides. It measures 15.59 the device features a slightly glossy panel at the back and comes in the colors: Glaze Blue and Glaring Gold. The dual-lens camera and the fingerprint sensor are featured at the back. The camera set up is horizontally aligned to the top left corner and has golden linings surrounding it. The fingerprint scanner which is found at the center is strategically placed to allow users to hold the phone while unlocking the device.

The volume adjusters and SIM card tray are placed at the left side of the device while the right side has the power keys. At the bottom, the phone comes with a micro-USB charging port, 3.5 mm jack, and data transfers that are ideally placed along with the speaker grille.

DISPLAY

The device boasts of an immersive 6.2inch HD+ display screen. The Multi-touch capacitive screen has an aspect ratio of 720 x 1520 pixels and a pixel density of 271PPI. It comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top that provides an added screen protection. The display is quite vibrant and comes with a teardrop notch up top that can host the front camera. the phone’s display is averagely good for watching and playing games. It also features up to 16.7 million colors and is an In-Cell type.

CAMERA

The Oppo A7 has a dual-lens rear camera set up that accommodates a 13MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MPdepth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear cameras come paired up with a LED flashlight and show acceptable detailing while in average lighting conditions. The colors appear natural and one can get a wide range of filters to experiment with the shots. The User Interface provides shortcuts, gestures, and other software features that make it to have a swift performance. The Color OS is similar to the Ios that is found in iPhones. It does not have an app drawer and users have to put all the apps on the home screen.
