OVERVIEW
Nokia 8.3 is the first of Nokia’s 5G smartphone. It takes you to the new future with high speed
to keep you at par with the new feature. You get more of an iPhone experience with this kind of
upgrade. You get a 6.82-inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors 1080 x 2400 pixels
resolution, 20:9 ratio (~386 PPI density) with Corning Gorilla Glass, and a pre-installed screen
protector. This smartphone runs Android 10, with Android One, and is powered by Qualcomm
SDM765 Snapdragon 765G (7 nm) and octa-core (1×2.4 GHz Kryo 475 Prime & 1×2.2 GHz Kryo
475 Gold & 6×1.8 GHz Kryo 475 Silver). With it is 8GB RAM for the smooth running of
background tasks and 128GB ROM for internal storage of multimedia.
It packs a Quad camera set up 64MP+12MP+2MP+2MP and a single selfie camera 24MP for an
awesome camera experience. It is fuelled by Li-Po 4500 mAh, non-removable Fast charging
18W to keep you juiced up all day long.

DESIGN
Nokia 8.3 measures 171.9 x 78.6 x 9 mm and weighs 220g. it feels massive on the hand but very portable and secure. It is made of a glass front (gorilla glass 3 protection), glass back, and an aluminium frame. This gives you maximum protection and durability. It has a glossy finish with a nice gradient colour that reflects light from different angles.
At the front is a 6.81-inch screen display which houses a dot notch at the top left for the selfie camera. On the right side, you get a 2 in 1 tray that holds a sim card and a micro SD card for storage expansion. To place a second sim you are required to forego the microSD. The slot is well incorporated into the phone leaving no bump therefore a smooth finish. There is also a
volume rocker that is not segmented therefore acts as volume up and volume down. It is clicky and efficient. A power button is well placed below the volume key. It doubles up a fingerprint scanner for authentication. It is expected to be fast. The power button also pulls the notification bar down when you slide your finger on it.
On the right side is a dedicated google assistant button which is very fast and reliable. By pressing it once you get google assistance and you can address some of your issues if not all.
Down below are a single down-firing speaker, a USB-Type C port, a microphone for calls, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. At the rear is a Quad camera set up with an LED flash to give you an extraordinary experience.

DISPLAY
You get a 6.82-inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colours 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution,20:9 ratio (~386 PPI density) with Corning Gorilla Glass, and a pre-installed screen protector. it has a lower energy consumption, dynamic and rich colors, fast responses with also high picture resolution. You can now protect your eyes while reading with less straining as the display is
reasonably big for easy viewing of crispy clear content.
Media consumption has been made possible with this phone. It is lag-free and your device does not get too hot. it is bright outdoors with great viewing angles and adaptive light feature.

The dark feature makes your user interface and Apps dark in order to protect your eyes from the harmful blue light at night.
It has a pure display feature for games, videos, apps, and music where you can choose from;Dynamic mode-it automatically adjusts color contrast and brightness according to your usage.

PERFORMANCE
This smartphone runs Android 10, with Android One. Android 10 gives you suggested responses with the recommended action. It is also equipped with a sound amplifier that boosts sound and filters the background to give you a fine-tune. Gesture navigation is quicker and much more intuitive. It also offers a dark mode that is gentle on your eyes, no more straining at night. You
also get data control to help you keep your data safe from unauthorized access. Android One gives you longer battery life and no bloatware applications. It also offers you at least two years of Android One major upgrade firmware and three years of security updates.
You get the privileges of Android native applications like google assistant, google lens, and
much more. You also get joint with google android one family users.
This smartphone is powered by Qualcomm SDM765 Snapdragon 765G (7 nm) and Octa-core
(1×2.4 GHz Kryo 475 Prime & 1×2.2 GHz Kryo 475 Gold & 6×1.8 GHz Kryo 475 Silver) which
focuses on optimizing the systems-on-chip for battery efficiency without overly compromising
performance and user experience. You can switch between tasks and Apps without lagging or
overheating. Multitasking becomes easier and achievable. Enjoy fast responses and perform
your tasks without delay.
It is also equipped with Adreno 610 GPU for you to play graphics-intensive advanced games
with customizable characters, complicated console movements, detailed environments, and
realistic lighting effects. You get 8GB RAM for the smooth running of Apps in the background.
You can now resume with previously used Apps without the need to refresh them.

STORAGE
It has 128GB RAM for internal storage. This storage gives you the freedom to download all your favorite movies and games to keep you entertained on that trip. Frequent freeing of space is no longer necessary. In case the storage is not sufficient you can always expand it with a micro SD card up to 400GB.
CAMERA

Nokia 8.3  packs a Quad main camera set up which consists of: 64 MP, f/1.9, (wide), PDAF,12 MP, f/2.2, 13mm (ultrawide), AF
2 MP, (macro) and 2 MP, (depth). The camera produces decent clear shots, correct colour saturation, and no overexposure. You can now capture every special moment for memory as the photos will tell the tale. Night mode with HDR gives better results with more details, tolerable noise levels, accurate colours, and good highlights. Videos and photos shot with the phone can be easily uploaded to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and even WhatsApp. Video footage is 4K@30fps, 1080p@30fps, and gyro-
EIS. The camera has an additional feature called Zeiss optics which is also present in Nokia 7plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco. It is also equipped with a single selfie camera set up 24 MP, f/2.0,(wide) which helps you stand out in social media with great selfies. Portraits have great subject separation and background bar to make you look iconic regardless of the situation you are into.
